JACKSON, Wyo. — Starting with a career in interior design, artist Lauren Chisolm explored both restoration of antique gilded treasures and fine furniture painting early on. It is here the artist cultivated an admiration and understanding for attention to detail.

Now specializing in custom jewelry design and execution of mural and trompe l’oeil paintings, Lauren makes her debut in Jackson Hole this weekend. The artist will make a personal appearance at her jewelry designer event, at Belle Cose Town Square from Friday, November 29 to Tuesday, December 2. To date, her work has been featured in Traditional Home, Newsday, HOME, Chicago Tribune, The Franklin Report, ABC World News Made in America Gift Ideas and most recently, US Airways and Connecticut Magazines.

Inherent principles of scale and proportion have been nurtured through the designer’s formal education and classical training. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and routinely fuels her passion for knowledge by studying diverse mediums with master craftsmen. As a multifaceted artist, re-imagining classical elements, shapes and symbols in fresh modern design are a key source of inspiration.

“I enjoy seeing my aesthetic resonate as a common thread,” Lauren explained.

Her foundation in multiple art forms, blended with a vision to create wearable sculpture, led Lauren to add precious metal and gemstones to her palette. The result is an absolutely captivating collection of fine art jewelry in which distinctive aesthetic combines scale, style and symmetry.
