DOC NYC is a major touchstone for cinematic nonfiction each year, collecting not just some of the most acclaimed documentaries that have already come out, but also festival favorites that still have yet to get a release. Like most film festivals this year, DOC NYC has moved to an online-only iteration because of the COVID-19 pandemic, with its various films, panel discussions, and other events streamed through its website. If you’ve missed any of these movies and want to catch up, now is the perfect opportunity.
Hyperallergic has reviewed many of the films in the festival’s lineup over the course of this year. Here is every piece, collected for easy reference:
These and many other great films will be screening during the festival. Individual tickets are $12 ($9 for IFC Center members), and there are several options for festival passes and discount packages as well.
When: November 11-19
Where: Online. More info via the DOC NYC website.
