“[B]ut moving forward, they ask for some privacy so Greg can focus on his recovery. Out of respect for Greg and his wishes, we won’t be sharing any more updates.”

On Friday night, the original Wiggles line-up reunited for the sold-out concert held at Castle Hill RSL, north-west of Sydney. All proceeds from the event were donated to the Australian Red Cross and WIRES.

Page, 48, who suffers from a circulatory disorder, collapsed on stage and stopped breathing. An off-duty nurse had to use a defibrillator three times before the former music star was whisked away by ambulance.

In a press conference last Saturday, NSW Ambulance paramedic Brian Parsell said a blocked blood vessel had caused the cardiac arrest.

After arriving at Westmead Hospital, Page underwent a medical procedure and has experienced a rapid recovery.

Kylie Martin, the Wiggles’ PR manager, said Page’s family had been with him the whole time he was in hospital and the performer’s health was now “great”.

“It’s really great news and everyone’s relieved,” Ms Martin said.

Page is a long-time sufferer of orthostatic intolerance, an often undiagnosed circulatory system disorder that affects blood flow. The illness forced him to leave the Wiggles in 2006, returning briefly in 2012 before again retiring that same year.
